2025 Webinar: Communicating in the Boardroom

Clear, effective communication in the boardroom is essential for productive meetings, sound decision making and stronger governance. From asking the right questions to engaging in respectful dialogue, how board members communicate has a direct impact on the success of their school system.

Join us Sept. 18 from noon to 1 pm to learn more about the importance of internal communication within a school board. AASB Consultant Aubrey Miller, a former Shelby County school board member, will break down the ins and outs of healthy and effective communication, sharing valuable tips, strategies and best practices. He'll also explore how this helps school boards fulfill their roles and responsibilities more effectively.

 

Cost: $55 individual | $210 group

Board members will earn 1 credit hour in the School Board Member Academy.
