Clarence Squires has been a member of the Tuscaloosa County board since 2021. He was appointed as AASB's District 7 director in December 2025 to fill the balance of the term vacated by current AASB President-Elect Randy Smalley. Clarence has served on the Resolutions Committee and has achieved Master level in the School Board Member Academy and earned 230 training hours.
