Poverty Simulation ($59) | Friday, March 6, 9 to 11:30 a.m. | Registration opens Tuesday, Jan. 6
Alabama has the sixth highest poverty rate in the nation. Do you understand the challenges your students and their families face? Get a sobering glimpse into the day-to-day realities of students and families living in poverty by participating in this interactive simulation. (Earn 2.5 training hours)
Early Bird Workshop: ($79) | Communicating with the Media | Friday, March 6, 1 to 3 p.m. | Registration opens Tuesday, Jan. 6
This workshop will explore essential do's and don'ts for engaging with reporters and feature hands-on practice with interview strategies that help you communicate your school system's message with confidence and clarity. (Earn 2 hours)
