The Alabama Association of School Boards, a statewide association headquartered in Montgomery serving public school leaders, is looking for a Public Relations Director to: oversee all facets of the association's communications and marketing, including events management and promoting fee-based services; manage all association communications, including website, social media and specialty publications; coordinate media relations; and supervise three department employees. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.  Experience in marketing, journalism, public relations, social media, app and website content management, databases and/or managing personnel is preferred. Strong writing and public speaking skills are required. Knowledge of K-12 education is desirable.
