Shelecia Robinson joined the AASB staff in September 2019. She is responsible for planning and promoting the district meetings, webinars, conferences and convention, in addition to managing the Professional Sustaining Members program.
Prior to joining AASB, she served as a program coordinator with Alabama State University, where she managed event planning, marketing, social media, community partnerships and more for the ASPIRE program, an enrichment program that partners with Montgomery Public Schools to encourage students to strive for academic success. She also worked as a project manager for the Montgomery Improvement Association, playing a key role in planning and implementing a host of events and programs for the City of Montgomery's observance of the 60th anniversary of the historic Montgomery Bus Boycott.
Shelecia holds a bachelor’s degree in justice and public safety from Auburn University Montgomery. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in public administration from Auburn University Montgomery, with an expected graduation date in December 2019.
She is married to Amon Robinson, a middle school band director in Montgomery Public Schools. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
