The sustaining membership offers several ways to market your services while supporting AASB’s service to school board members.
Perhaps the greatest benefit sustaining members enjoy is access to AASB's members! Network with hundreds of education leaders at our major conferences and the annual convention.
In addition – twice a year – AASB presents meetings in nine geographic areas of the state. Total attendance at these district meetings usually exceeds 500 school board members and superintendents – another great opportunity to meet and develop a rapport with our members.

Did you know? It is the school board's overarching responsibility to put in place the keystones necessary for students to learn and achieve at the highest possible levels. The board is also charged with giving the superintendent the benefit of the board’s counsel in matters related to individual board members’ expertise, familiarity with the local school system and community interests. School boards also take action upon the recommendation of the superintendent. |
