Cyberspace in our Schools:
Student Issues in a Digital Environment

ATTENDEES WILL LEARN :
- Web 2.0 terms and tools;
- How to control social networking; Questions boards should ask; and
- Policies that address these issues.
THE PROGRAM : What is a "Moodle" or a "Facebook?" Is your system prepared to address cyberbullying and the abuse of online social networking tools? Is this cyberspace whirlwind simply good technology or a landmine waiting to blow?
Don't know?
Well, this district workshop should help lift the fog. Hear some advice about what policies should be in place to wrangle the techno-chaos, and discover what the digital age legal challenges and privacy concerns are.
