Exhibiting at
Convention 2007
The Alabama Association of School Boards is the collective
voice of the more than 800 public school board members
throughout the state. By providing the training and resource materials
to all the K-12 school boards in Alabama, we help local
school boards govern effectively.
Each year, our annual convention brings board members and
superintendents together to learn with and from each other. The
annual trade show, held in conjunction with the convention, provides
an excellent opportunity for the association’s professional
sustaining members and other vendors to put their products and
services in front of the state’s local education decision-makers in
a relaxed, interactive environment. Alabama’s school boards are
meeting the educational needs of more than 743,000 students
this year. With state appropriations totaling more than $6 billion
dollars for public school expenditures and a $1 billion bond issue fueling massive school construction,
school boards are seeking the best ways to maximize dollars in every area.
