The 32-page magazine features in-depth articles, thought-provoking columns and trend stories on K-12 education issues, school law, the legislative landscape for public education, significant state education news, innovative programs and initiatives and much more!


Alabama School Boards' more than 3,000 readers are treated with articles designed to strengthen school board leadership. Boardmanship Basics provides information on key components of school management, boardmanship skills, teamwork, leadership and good governance.


This publication is free to AASB members and is available for only $30 annually with an associate membership. Per issue sales are not available. You can, however, read past issues online or download a pdf in our archives.

Advertising Rates:

 

  • Inside Front Cover (Black & White, 7 1/2 x 9 3/4 inches) - $500
  • Inside Back Cover (Black & White, 7 1/2 x 9 3/4 inches) - $500
  • Back Cover (Color only, 7 1/8 x 8 inches) - $550
  • Full Page (Color, 7 1/2 x 9 3/4 inches) - $475
  • Half Page (Black & White, 7 1/2 x 4 7/8 inches) - $375

Mechanicals:
Alabama School Boards is 32 pages that is a mixture of full process color and spot color. The full color back cover, the black and white inside front and back covers, an inside color page and black and white page are available to advertisers. Printing is offset on 65-pound Warren Flo Enamel with saddle stitch binding and a trim size of
8.5 by 11 inches. Ads should be furnished in an electronic format as a high resolution
TIFF, EPS or PDF (300 dpi or more) file. They may be designed in Quark Express or
Adobe formats, which are preferred but not required.


Closing Dates:
Alabama School Boards is published quarterly. In general, advertisers should
reserve space by the first of the month preceding the publication with ad copy delivered to the editor by the 10th day of that month.
